Account Manager

They are an integrated, international team of 1,200 strong with the infrastructure and capacity to support their customers wherever they operate – near their design centers on the West Coast and their manufacturing operations in Asia. Their solutions span multiple industries, from consumer electronics to medical devices and automotive to semiconductor products. They accelerate product development, improve product quality, and extend our Customers' Test Engineering operations worldwide.
As the Account Manager, you will report to VP, West Coast, and develop top-tier West Coast accounts primarily in the Consumer Electronics and Medical Devices industries. You will be exposed to a blend of complex technical problems, a consultative solution-based selling culture, and exposure to world-renowned technology organizations we proudly call our Customers. In this highly visible, cross-functional role, you will have an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills within all company departments and across the globe.
As the ideal candidate, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Optical, Electrical preferred)
- 5+ years of account management experience with Fortune 500 OEM clients
- Experience in consultative technology solution selling, particularly in automation and precision mechanics
- Strong technical understanding of automation, test, and measurement equipment
- Business development skills, including customer qualification and internal team coordination
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
Your contribution as the Account Manager will include:
- Identify/develop prospect accounts and maintain/grow existing accounts,
- Build/execute account plans through collaboration with internal teams (Marketing, Operations, etc.),
- Work with cross-functional Averna teams to develop system-level custom solutions concepts,
- Coordinate with Asia-based Averna teams to support our Clients’ global operations,
- Forecast/report sales,
- Maintain quota accountability.
