Job Summary

These are temporary, part-time positions used to fill classroom vacancies as needed. When a position is available, qualified applicants may be contacted for an interview and asked to submit further documentation.

Job Duties:

The successful candidate will work to empower students to be fully engaged in the learning environment and promoting growth and educational development to support the operation and success of the general education courses in the division.


Instructors are responsible for:
• Delivering quality instruction with student-instructor interaction
• Providing timely feedback to students
• Monitoring progress/attendance
• Recording grades and submitting reports

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree in the teaching discipline (Composition, Art History, Introduction to Art, History, Oral Communications, Sociology, Spanish, and Music) or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline. Experience using Blackboard (or a similar learning management system as a delivery method for classes) is recommended. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience using Blackboard (or a similar learning management system as a delivery method for classes) is recommended.
Previous teaching experience is desired.
