Job Summary

Provide student and administrative support for customers of the Student Affairs division including retention activities, administrative support, wellness, and outreach activities.

Job Duties:

  • Assist the Associate VP of Counseling and Wellness Services with administrative tasks.
  • Manage department communications and social media.
  • Develop and analyze assessment questionnaires and reports.
  • Create flyers and coordinate events.
  • Host and assist with coordinating the counseling and wellness office events and engage with participants.
  • Support wellness initiatives and the Food Pantry.
  • Handle success coaching caseload.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree with 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Ability to manage and oversee social media accounts
  • Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Excellent organizational skills; high attention to detail; independent; self-motivated; able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to communicate with many individuals at all levels throughout the internal college environment as well as external business and community partners, representing his/her self in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to communicate clearly verbally and, in writing.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under deadlines, and prioritize projects to meet deadlines with high levels of efficiency and accuracy.
  • Must have proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in and understanding of the importance of working with students from diverse populations.
  • Experience working at the community college level
