Position Summary

Key support role on all logistics, warehousing and distribution functions within Proximo. This position is located in Hebron, KY.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Maintain all necessary process updates related to CTPAT in government website

-Work with Mexican CTPAT administrator to insure global compliance.

-Perform key audits and follow ups related to CTPAT

  • Maintain and update all key reports

-Financial reports

-Key warehouse and distribution metrics

  • Load times
  • Wait times
  • On time shipments
  • Work with manager on all 3PL provider relationships

-Trucking

-Warehouses

-Co-packers

-Customs Brokers

  • Generate shipment, purchases and inventory reports, as well as inventory turns and forecast accuracy metrics for weekly and monthly business monitoring. Analyze performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and recommended solutions and process changes.
  • Develop analytical tools and reports designed improve logistics and supply chain performance and profitability.
  • Implement process improvement initiatives in order to benefit Proximo Logistics and Supply Chain operations
  • Establish guidelines for logistics operations in order to manage circumstances when demand exceeds capacity

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor Degree from accredited college (preferable in Supply Chain/Logistics or related areas)
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of major ERP systems (i.e. SAP)
  • Working knowledge of warehouse processes
  • Working knowledge of freight/trucking operations
  • Inventory management a plus
  • Excellent written and communication skills
