Job Summary

Teach automotive courses for an ASE Master accredited program.

Job Duties:

The primary responsibilities of these positions are to teach courses, maintain some office hours for mentoring and coaching students, success and retention activities, and utilization of a learning management system such as Blackboard for communication and feedback. These positions may be taught on any of Jefferson’s campuses.

Please note that this is an adjunct pool. We will only contact applicants as needed for classes.

Minimum Qualifications:

5 years’ experience as an automotive technician or completion of an accredited training program and 2 years’ experience. G1, A6, and associated ASE for subject taught. L1 and A8 required to teach engine performance related courses. 

Preferred Qualifications:

ASE Master Technician certification
