Job Summary
The Southwest Tennessee Community College Off-Campus Instructional Sites and Centers team is looking for a dependable student to assist at the Project STAND Food Pantry.
This is an off-site position and the team is looking for a student with the ability to effectively communicate via phone and email, ensuring that all duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and timely.
Job Duties
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of youth programming events and activities.
- Provide clerical assistance to maintain accurate records and databases related to program participants, events, and resources.
- Assist with coordination and logistics for workshops, seminars, and career fairs, ensuring smooth operation and participant satisfaction.
- Provide clerical support to the program director, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and handling correspondence.
- Collaborate with program staff to develop and update program materials, including brochures, handouts, and training materials.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a registered student of Southwest Tennessee Community College.
- Only students who are approved for Federal Work Study are qualified for this position.

- Organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with a wide array of groups.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Forms, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
- A passion for supporting youth development and a commitment to promoting college and career readiness in young individuals.
