Pay Range
$32,720.00-$44,990.00 AnnualThis is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus.

We are currently seeking a Disc Utility Operator for our Tucson facility. We value our employees; provide a safe and clean work environment and a competitive wage and benefits package. The successful applicant will have the ability to perform basic mathematics accurately on a consistent basis. The Utility operator must have the ability to properly use measuring equipment to determine that the part being produced is within the specified tolerance. Perform miscellaneous duties as directed -- rolling, parts manufacture, melting, etc.
This is a day shift M-F 6am-2:30pm
Your Day-to-Day
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Interface with team members on all shifts and other departments
- Provide technical assistance to others according to established operating procedures
- Ability to consistently make appropriate decisions with frequent interruptions. of performance, team player, good written and verbal communications skills
What You Bring to the Team
- Maintain a safe work environment; complete all safety and other training on schedule.
- Work closely with EH&S. Make sure OSHA and environmental requirements are being followed throughout the facility.
- Keep informed of all JSAs on all CNC machinery and be confident you are aware of all changes.
- Operate CNC Lathes and VMCs, and other machine tools and hand tools safely.
- Operate lifting equipment, including cranes, hoists and forklifts, safely lifting and moving parts and material.
- High School degree. Completion of a machinist apprenticeship program or a technical certificate preferred.
- Experience setting up, editing G-Code programs and running CNC Lathes with Fanuc controls.
- Computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office suite of programs. Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
- Positive manner of performance, team player, good written and verbal communications skills.
Safety:
- Lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Must be capable of performing repetitive tasks.
- Must have to ability to operate various hand tools including pneumatic, electrical, and manual
- Ability to safely climb stairs and ladders throughout the workday.
- Ability to complete tasks associated with various hot works. Including the ability to wear necessary PPE to protect worker from such hot work hazards.
- Ability to wear steel-toe safety shoes for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to work in a noisy environment and wear hearing protection as required.
- Ability to work in a dusty environment and wear respiratory protection as required.
- Capable of using forklifts, cranes
