Physical Requirements

Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds and standing/walking for extended periods of time.



Shift

Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (40 hours per week). Occasionally requires working evenings and weekends.



Job Summary

The Event Manager processes a large volume of events annually utilizing Event Management Software. They ensure excellence in customer experience with hosting events on campus. The event manager manages reservations daily, working with clients, campus partners, and key stakeholders on event process and approvals. They also assist patrons in submitting requests for space and events on campus, providing customer service to patrons and ensure events are safe and successful. This position oversees policy management and communication and maintains a working knowledge of the essential function and responsibilities of the University Events Office.

Microsoft Office Suite.
