Job Summary: The L1 X-Ray Shoot will radiograph and inspect castings, sample parts, and structural members for flaws, cracks, or presence of foreign materials and process related deviations.

Essential Functions & Job Responsibilities:
  • Must possess the skills and knowledge to process parts, document results, and perform equipment standardization in accordance with approved work instructions.
  • Must possess the skills and knowledge to carry out any necessary preparation of parts before or after X-Ray inspection in accordance with approved work instructions.
  • Must possess the skills and knowledge to conduct system performance checks in accordance with the applicable process standards and customer requirements.
  • Must be receiving of guidance or supervision from a certified Level II or Level III.
  • Shall not accept or reject evaluations unless specified in writing and approved by the Level III.
  • Operates X-Ray and film processing equipment.
  • Must comply with all company attendance policies and guidelines; this includes, but is not limited to, regular attendance and occasional overtime.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Internal certification with rectification every five years is required.
  • Ability to read, write, and apply concepts and use of basic math.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Equipment Used: Various radiographic imaging equipment, 320 MEV, 450 MEV, and Linatron Units.

Basic Qualifications:
  • An application must include a resume for review and consideration.
  • This position requires a minimum of high school diploma or GED certificate.
  • This position requires a minimum of three months of related experience and/or training.
  • Availability for all shifts(including 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and weekend shift) is necessary. The ability to work overtime and weekends is required as schedules may vary based on operational needs; flexibility is essential.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
