LocationRemote with requirement to travel for business needs.

Basic Purpose:

The Inventory Analyst executes the global inventory accounting process to ensure the company has accurate location-level reporting of finished goods and raw & pack inventory that matches with third party reporting. The position follows department procedures and policies in supporting inventory projections and analytics , which contribute to the company's inventory strategies and service level goals. This position requires a high level of collaboration with supply planners, buyers, customer service, transportation, logistics, QA, billing and deductions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Runs and audits monthly/quarterly reconciliations of cycle counts and physical inventory levels at major distribution centers / warehouses to ensure accuracy
  • Executes system inventory updates and reconciliations as well as completes various forms, summaries and reporting for Accounting to ensure auditable results.
  • Maintains database records pertaining to Inventory Audits
  • Controls lot codes and researches and resolves any inventory discrepancies
  • Performs Inventory Adjustments as needed
  • Works to continuously improve the accuracy, efficiency, and accountabilities essential for the Inventory Control process.
  • Works with Planners, Buyers, and Co-Pack/Warehouse Directors to improve inventory accuracy
  • Assists in the execution of annual physical inventory counts and coordination between Supply Chain and Finance.
  • Assists with other projects as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum three years' experience in inventory control, planning or related

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Understanding of electronic inventory transactions (PO’s, BOM’s, etc.).
  • Knowledge of production planning, plant environment and procurement processes as related to inventory tracking
  • Working knowledge of MRP/DRP software
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple priorities and strong attention to detail.
  • Computer skills including MS Office programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate (verbal/writing) effectively.
  • Self-motivated and strong analytical / problem solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization and across other functional areas.
  • Preferred knowledge of the Consumer Product Goods Industry.
  • Certification in Production and Inventory Management by the APICS, a plus
