Compensation
Bachelor's Degree: $21.30 - $23.38 per hour
Master's Degree: $23.10 - $25.18 per hour

Primary Responsibilities
- Provide in-home case management services to birth parents, kinship caregiver(s) and their kin that will promote and enhance their capacity to care for children
- Work closely with referral sources, community service providers, and all Kinship family members to ensure collaborative efforts towards established permanency goals
- Ensure accurate, thorough, and timely completion and filing of progress notes, evaluations, correspondence, assessments
- Develop, teach, model and evaluate effective techniques and interventions with parents/caretakers (i.e. parenting skills, behavioral management, and discipline)
- Fulfill other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services related field with 2 years’ of kinship/preventive services, foster care, caseworker experience in public or private institutions
- Current NYS Driver’s License, adequate auto insurance and personal vehicle
- Ability to build rapport with youth based on healthy boundaries, effective communication and mutual respect
- Ability to exercise discretion and judgement in decision making
- Ability to demonstrate sensitivity, compassion, patience, and active listening
- Ability to effectively work with individuals from a diverse array of cultural backgrounds, beliefs, customs, and lifestyles
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Human Services related field with 2 years’ experience providing supportive services to children and their families
