Position Description

Lindsay Corporation is hiring a new Logistics Clerk. This temporary position will assist with outbound paperwork and monitoring of the driver window in Traffic.  This position will also be responsible for answering the phone, assisting the team with duties as needed.

Position Details

This is a temporary full-time, (40 hours, preapproval required for overtime) non-exempt position located in Lindsay, NE.  The hours will be 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor driver window, assist drivers, call dealers and confirm delivery appointments with day and time
  • Assist with outbound paperwork and instructions by printing BOL and putting together envelope
  • Monitor scale, weigh trucks and print weight tickets which may include CMI, crystal process, scrap tubing, galvanization, and U&I
  • Find and walk shared driver through saving the BOL’s in the proper place for Irrigation and LTS containers
  • Assist with dispatching for diversified manufacturing regarding full trucks for road safety, tubing and crystals

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED, preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • 1+ years’ experience in an office environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • A passion for customer service.
  • Ability to prioritize.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Experience with Microsoft suite of tools (Excel, Outlooks, etc).
  • Works well under pressure with the ability to multi-task
