Overview

LMI is seeking an Operational Integrator, within our Policy Analysis & Operations Group, to support our client in Norfolk, VA or Washington, DC. This position will support Naval Sea Systems Command in an evolved executive administrative support role. This position may require on-site support as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Support operational needs of program to include coordination, development, and management of guidance documents for operational optimization.
  • Support onboarding of new contractor personnel.
  • Liaise between the LMI contractor team and the client staff.
  • Provide dynamic support through the operation and management of multiple calendars to ensure required stakeholders and leadership attend necessary project meetings, focus groups, and virtual calls.
  • Provide support in implementing suggestions and strategies to identify process improvements to meet overall project goals
  • Collaborate with key influencers and decision-makers to ensure all planned meetings are executed and completed, rescheduling cancelled meetings as required, tracking meeting attendance and participation, and scheduling follow-ups.
  • Maintain a day-to-day project tracker to ensure deliverables and deadlines are met throughout the period of performance, maintaining attention to detail in workflows and assessing areas for process improvements independently.
  • Develop and deliver project activity reports to include barriers encountered and critical issues to all necessary personnel, including collecting necessary information and artifacts for daily and weekly report requirements.
  • Complete research relevant to the project at-hand to develop, monitor, analyze, and evaluate the necessary data to identify trends, track metrics of performance, and improvements.

  • Provide critical thinking and problem-solving skills relevant to database management tools and project-related systems.
  • Provide support for operational optimization to include documenting all changes in project and outcomes, perform data validations, implement quality control measures, and integrate best practices to streamline project plan.
  • Collaborate with government and project leads in all aspects of project management including strategic planning, data gathering, analysis, development, communication, status tracking, implementation, documentation, monitoring, and follow-up.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow team members to address related tasks effectively.

Qualifications

  • B.A. or B.S. degree
  • 3 years of work experience
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop a variety of written and presentation-based work products and deliverables.
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment.
  • Ability to travel to and work on client sites as needed.
  • Ability to receive a DoD Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DoD Secret clearance.
  • Experience working with the Navy.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, active.
  • Experience providing Executive Administrative support or Chief of Staff role.
  • Knowledge of low-code / no-code technology solutions.
