Key Responsibilities
- Daily Review of Repair Orders: Review and audit all Repair Orders (ROs) completed the previous day for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal and external standards.
- Error Identification and Resolution: Identify discrepancies or missing information in Repair Orders and coordinate with service technicians, service advisors, and the service operations team to correct them.
- Documentation Management: Ensure that all documentation, including parts, labor, and service details, is properly recorded and reflected in the Repair Orders.
- Compliance and Standards Verification: Ensure that all Repair Orders are compliant with AutoNation policies, warranty regulations, and industry standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Service Operations team, technicians, and customer service to resolve issues, improve processes, and maintain high-quality service.
- Reporting: Maintain records of reviewed Repair Orders and provide reports on trends, errors, or recurring issues to management.
- Customer Support: Assist in addressing customer inquiries regarding Repair Orders, providing clarifications as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative, operations, or automotive service environment preferred.
- Experience with Repair Order review or auditing is a plus.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies quickly and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and familiar with automotive service software (preferred).
- Strong understanding of automotive service processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
