Job Summary

The Adult Education Data and Assessment Specialist processes a strong understanding and experience with the data collection process, report designs and analyses, Microsoft Office Suite/KAERS/MyOneFlow, assessment practices, and presenting information to others. On a day-to-day basis, this individual will administer assessments, enter and review data, ensure program compliance, answer data-related questions for staff, and run and analyze reports to improve program effectiveness and efficiency.

Job Duties:

  • Implements and ensures proper data collection policies and procedures.

  • Enters procedure-related data into the KYSU data delivery system.

  • Adheres to data quality standards and ensures compliance.

  • Educates staff and partners on the importance of data collection processes and tools.

  • Understands and applies to privacy law and standards.

  • Administers and interprets appropriate diagnostic assessments for adult students.

  • Proctoring and scoring diagnostic assessments for adult students.

  • Assists in the security and maintenance of test materials.

  • Assists in preparing student folders and maintaining records of student progress.

  • Participate in retention and follow-up activities.

  • Works as an effective member of the team to ensure the success of all students.

  • Cross trained in multiple areas, such as administrative support and assessment to ensure continuity of services.
  • Evening hours will be required for this position (two per week until 8:00 p.m.)
  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (related field) or four years of direct adult education related job experience may be substituted for education.

    Post-Secondary transcripts  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • KAERS/MyOneFlow Experience.

  • Experience working in Adult Education.

Additional Skills Requested:

  • Self-starter.

  • Prior proctoring and instructional experience.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills.
