Job Description:

The Role

As a Quality Engineering consultant you will be an integral part of a product area working across teams and business units. You will ensure that projects meet quality standards by providing technical guidance in planning, designing, executing testing and developing procedures relating to product quality on complex projects. You'll get the opportunity to develop your skills, collaborate across Fidelity teams and continue to learn in a fun, iterative, and constantly evolving environment.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • A Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software engineering or related field

  • 10+ years of relevant hands-on SDET work experience with a specific focus on automation frameworks and automation testing.

  • Proven experience in Agile / Scrum methodology

  • Hands on experience with crafting and maintaining node-based test suites that utilizes frameworks like Cypress or Webdriver.io or Puppeteer or Playwright.

  • Must be proficient in coding in TypeScript, JavaScript on Node stack.

  • Good to have: Hands on experience with crafting and maintaining java-based test suites that utilizes Selenium, Cucumber and jUnit to test Web UI applications.

  • Expertise in web services testing and proven experiance with RestAssured/Karate.

  • Advanced Experience with Git + GitHub, CI/CD orchestration tooling (Jenkins, Travis, Circle or similar), Artifact Management (Artifactory, Git/Stash or similar)

  • Detailed understanding of build process for Java (SpringBoot), Node.js (Angular)

  • Strong, hands-on testing skills in Automation Scripting, Script execution and Functional Testing.

  • Understanding of Cloud Computing and DevOps concepts including CI/CD pipelines using Git and Jenkins.

  • Deeply self-motivated with the ability to work independently, coordinating activities within cross-regional and multi-functional teams

  • A passion for excellence, innovation, and teamwork; eager to learn and adapt every day

  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies, delivery projects, implementation and Agile tools like JIRA

  • Strong technical design and analysis skills.
