The Role

Fidelity's Wealth Management Technology Distribution Experience Team builds, manages and distributes technology solutions for more than 200 local investor center and 8 regional campuses. These solutions support how our internal associates work and engage with our customers. Our services are essential to Fidelity's core businesses, ensuring financial consultants and customer service representatives have the high functioning, reliable computing solutions and software they need to do their job.

In this role you will pilot, implement, maintain, and support products used in our investor and regional centers. You will interface with other Fidelity business and technology teams to ensure proper planning, communication, release and support of their product implementations. The position itself requires an understanding of end user computing technologies, business applications and supporting infrastructure systems. This role is focused on a well-designed associate experience giving users immediate access to the digital technologies they need for productivity, both on-premises and remotely.


The Skills You Bring

  • BS in Computer Science or related technical field
  • 10+ years demonstrated technical excellence and experience with PC hardware and software support environments.
  • 10+ years' experience aiding in installation of peripherals like video equipment, printers, scanners, cabling and networks.
  • Effective troubleshooting and accurate solutions to advanced hardware and software computing problems
  • Experience leading technical activities involved in new technology introductions.
  • Experience resolving incidents escalated by calls centers or associates within appropriate priorities and urgencies.
  • Working experience with custom and vendor provided applications in a production support environment. Capable of configuring, administering, and deploying applications.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and change management skills within infrastructure and application environments. Ability to brainstorm with teams on solutions to address challenges and roadblocks.
  • Ability to rapidly assimilate business processes, goals and objectives and distill them into well-defined stories/requirements.
  • Aptitude to influence others technical teams without organizational hierarchy.
  • Efficiency in written and verbal communications and dedication to tailoring content to the appropriate audience (business vs. technology, associate vs. management, etc.)
