The Enterprise CRM Solutions Team brings together foundational strategic technology capabilities that support customer and sales experiences throughout the enterprise. We are seeking an innovative Program Manager with an enthusiastic, impactful strategic & technology mind-set to work well with the team developing Sales Domain focus technology, product & solutions. We wish to drive engagement and loyalty within our existing cardmember base and attract new customers to the AMEX brand. This role will collaborate with product and technology teams to create structure around the sales domain lean portfolio management, vision strategy,ensure the quality delivery of applications and Infrastructure components; stakeholder management strategy and prioritization governance processes. The role will collaborate closely with business partners, Project Managers, Engineers, Architects and Leadership, to communicate and manage stakeholders as well as ensure completeness and efficiency of business demand prioritization into delivery solutions.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Partners and collaborates with Product Management, Technology Leaders, and teams to understand the intended outcome of the program, manage delivery, and communicate progress delivery.
  • Engages with technology & business stakeholders, understand their needs to create a streamlined prioritization backlogand end-to-end process for managing the backlog
  • Translates key business goals and enables coordination of Product Management and technology leaders and teams to drive alignment of activities to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Collaborates with senior leaders (both internal and external to Sales Domain) to recommend and implement process improvements to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Reviews and presents materials to senior leaders on recommendations to solve overly complex portfolio challenges, leveraging relationships and subject matter expertise for the Sales portfolios. 
  • Works within and across business units to prioritize, plan, and implement the development schedule for major product releases
  • Coordinates execution of development projects from initiation through release, applying SDLC methodologies and using Agile/Scrum concepts.
  • Make recommendations and share insights with the leadership team on meaningful business decisions, ensuring that business decisions are effectively communicated and implemented across different business units and markets
  • Build both relationships and partnerships across the Enterprise CRM Solutions Teamand the Enterprise.
  • Finds opportunities to adopt innovative and efficient processes and technologies

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of technical project management or strategic experience
  • Critical thinking with the confidence and composure to effectively connect with leadership.
  • Outstanding leadership and relationship building ability.
  • Proven track record in creation in governance and processes to streamline outcomes
  • Effectively influence without authority across peers and leaders.
  • Drive projects and operate well under ambiguity.
  • Outstanding organization and planning skills.
  • Passion, energy, personal accountability, and a desire to learn and grow as a leader.
  • High level of integrity when handing confidential information.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly with a willingness to continuously improve.
  • Active listening skills, summarization skills and lateral thinking to uncover and react to emerging opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of  Agile, Scrum, or other rapid application development teams to deliver technology solutions on that meet customer expectations for timeliness and quality
  • Champion of Lean-Agile practices and mindsets by encouraging and supporting enterprise Agile maturity progression.
  • Strong understanding of project budgets and reporting while ensuring compliance with Rally and Agile delivery platform
  • Excellent oral and written interpersonal skills; Ability to effectively communicate across third parties and technical and business product managers
  • Respectfully and purposefully challenges the status quo.
  • Ensures collaboration and quality practices between Leaders, Agile teams, Product teams, and Business teams
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience, is preferred
  • Excellent oral and written interpersonal skills; Ability to effectively communicate across third parties and technical and business product managers
  • Ability to get industry leading solutions to market efficiently and effectively
  • Experience in clarifying objectives, dealing with ambiguity/under-defined problems, advocating for simplification, and influencing teams
  • Ability to enable business capabilities through innovation
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and takes pride in how fast they develop working software
  • Experience with object-oriented design, coding skills, SOA concepts, data management is a plus
  • Experience with financial services technology, sales,and industry is a plus

Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits

The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
