The Portfolio Services Group (PSG) is part of the Global Equity Trading team and acts as a liaison between fund managers, trade operations teams, and internal partners.

The Position

Based in Boston, we are seeking a candidate to join the Portfolio Services Group (PSG) to support and partner with various teams within the organization. The Portfolio Services Team sits at the intersection of Portfolio Management, Compliance, Operations and Equity Trading and is responsible for delivering a consistent high level of service to the investment professionals across the globe.

Position & Responsibilities

  • Create trades lists to assist PMs with cash management and shareholder activity.
  • Work with trading desk to provide PMs with liquidity and cost analysis for portfolio rebalances.
  • Partner with CIOs to manage the sector focused sleeves portfolios within domestic, international and emerging markets equity teams.
  • Manage and optimize portfolio holdings across active ETF products.
  • Partner with Global Product Solutions (GPS), Client Services, and external transition managers on client cash and in-kind securities transitions.
  • Monitor multi-currency balances and oversee active foreign currency balance management program.
  • Work closely with teams from Product and Investment Management on new fund launches and fund restructurings.
  • Partner with internal partners (GAA and SAI) to implement monthly glide path and model changes for the equity funds.
  • Collaborate with Compliance teams across the globe to support all equity funds from an aggregate and fund level monitoring perspective.
  • Liaison between trading desk and trading operations team to resolve issues requiring immediate action and projects to enhance operational procedures.
  • Provide best-in-class service and execution capabilities to the investment teams globally.

Experience and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have very strong analytical and communication skills and exhibit the highest level of personal and professional integrity.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in industry. Proficient in trading operations, market structure and transition management will be considered an asset.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and responsibilities in fast-paced environment. Comfortable working on tight timelines.
  • Contributes positively and is committed to improving the work environment and enhancing Fidelity's culture.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with global investment professionals.
  • A team-oriented approach, working with peers in a collaborative environment to achieve the best outcome for shareholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with large data sets.
  • Extreme attention to detail required.
