Pay Range

$83,400.00-$114,600.00 Annual

This is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire.   Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus. 

The Johns Manville, Roofing team is looking to hire a Sales Representative to join our team. This position will be covering the Florida Panhandle region. The ideal candidate will leave in or near Pensacola, Florida. Your Day-to-Day

As the Sr. Sales Representative, you will sell commercial roofing products and systems to generate new business and grow profitability within your territory. You will call on roofing contractors, specifiers, distributors, and building owners. If you are passionate about sales, working with people, and providing amazing customer service this may be the job for you! You will have the support and resources of the team but the position will also work independently as you are a remote employee. Time management and organization will be key. Travel within your territory will be required and includes a lot driving and overnight trips. Occasional travel to Denver or other locations will also be required.

What You Bring to the Team

  • Bachelor's degree or 5 years of professional experience in lieu of a degree plus the requirements below
  • 3 or more years of experience in a customer facing role or sales experience
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate product lines, markets, and customer, marketing programs, and sales strategies
  • Experience calling on distributors, contractors, architects
  • Sales ability to introduce new products/systems
  • Prefer experience in the third party (e.g. distributor) sales and working with architects and contractors to specify products
  • Ability to estimate and monitor expenses for budgeting and territory/market operations
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Have a valid driver's license
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Travel required within the territory.
  • The primary work environment is typically in an office environment with occasional visits on a job site; may be exposed to environmental conditions of cold, heat, high noise levels, heights, dust/mist/gas/fumes, extensive walking or climbing, etc.
