We are seeking a Senior Associate Product Designer to join the Global Merchant & Network Services (GMNS) Product Design Team. The GMNS Product Design Team is focused on creating and improving digital experiences for Merchant and Network customers. This role is an exciting opportunity for a passionate designer that is ready to learn andgrow with GMNS Design. This role will have an initial focus on Amex Offers.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Ensures visually appealing and usable user interfaces by delivering artifacts such as wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity specifications
  • Develops understanding and empathy for users through user-centeredmethodologies, external analysis, research, and data
  • Presents design decisions to peers and partners with minimal support fromsenior colleagues
  • Embraces American Express and GMNS design process, design systems and UXpatterns
  • Collaborates closely with product managers, researchers, marketing, engineersand other designers to understand and deliver against project requirements
  • Provides extra support, such as prototyping, on key projects to aid other designers
  • Clearly and confidently communicate with an affinity for visual storytelling
  • Be a passionate advocate for Amex Merchant and Network customers

Qualifications

  • Has hands-on experience in or with a product design organization
  • Mastery of Figma, design and prototyping tools
  • Demonstrates an understanding of user-centered design methodologies, research and processes
  • Shares solutions to problem-solving initiatives in an engaging way
  • Is a proactive and energetic communicator, with an attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or relevant work experience
  • Must be able to work in-office from NYC at least 3 days/week

Salary Range: $60,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits

The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
