- Sourcing Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to achieve cost savings, quality improvements, and supplier performance enhancements.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in the supply chain.
- Define and implement sourcing strategies for key categories of spend.
- Supplier Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to meet business needs.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with existing suppliers to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to secure favorable terms for the company.
- Cost Management:
- Lead cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
- Analyze total cost of ownership and implement strategies to optimize cost structures.
- Monitor and report on cost savings and performance metrics.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including operations, quality, finance, and R&D teams, to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
- Support product development and innovation initiatives by sourcing materials and components.
- Engage with logistics and supply chain teams to optimize inventory levels and delivery schedules.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize data analytics to drive decision-making and track sourcing performance.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sourcing activities, savings, and supplier performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on data analysis.
Basic:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Supply Chain, and / or Logistics from an accredited Institution.
- 10 years of Procurement experience, preferably in aerospace, across a broad spectrum of Categories, including raw materials, purchased components, and MRO.
Preferred:
- 2 – 5 years in Procurement Management.
- 2 – 5 years International Experience.
- Bi-lingual.
- Engineering degree and / or MBA in Business Administration / Economics or similar.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Understands the stringent technical aspects of RM specifications.
- Innovative / Strategic thinker.
- Customer-oriented with business acumen.
- Able to interface with Senior Leadership.
