Senior Editorial & Research Manager, Thought Leadership

Are you a skilled communications and editorial professional with strong writing skills? We're seeking a unique candidate who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
As a Senior Editorial & Research Manager, Thought Leadership, you will play a hands-on role in advancing Fidelity Charitable's mission by leading, optimizing, and implementing a multichannel thought leadership program designed to drive awareness and adoption of donor-advised funds, as well as grow and protect the organization's brand in the market. You will report to the Director of Thought Leadership and be part of a broader collaborative Marketing, Brand, and Thought Leadership team, helping to drive awareness of Fidelity Charitable. You will create written content and execute projects by working closely with various internal teams and external vendors to prioritize and coordinate research, publication, and campaigns while incorporating efficient systems and processes to drive cohesion across the marketing team.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Education: Bachelor's degree with at least five years of content development experience, preferably in marketing communications, journalism, or research.
- Savvy Content Creation: Hands-on editorial management experience, crafting highly engaging content designed to connect with and communicate complex ideas to a sophisticated audience
- Attention to Detail: Outstanding organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, problem solve, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Marketing Passion: Experience and enthusiasm for marketing, with innovative thinking to reach various audiences.
- Skillful Use of Tools: Understanding marketing and production management tools such as Workfront, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
- Practical Knowledge: Familiarity with philanthropy and data-driven storytelling is a plus.
The Value You Deliver
- Data-driven storytelling: Lead the creation of complex, longer-form pieces such as reports, working independently and helping to shape or support the narrative in collaboration with others.
- Collaboration: Work with key partners, such as corporate communications, channel marketers, research and insights leads, and subject-matter experts, to develop and execute content programs that deliver measurable outcomes against audience objectives.
- Content Strategy: Help to identify story opportunities, happenings, outlets, and influencers across channels to leverage to create relevant content, develop engagement, and expand reach, including staying informed of key trends in the financial and philanthropic spaces.
- Project Management: Directly lead the creation of content and campaign assets in support of the thought leadership strategy, including, but not limited to, reports, blogs, donor stories, infographics, and videos. Create and maintain project plans and timelines, keeping stakeholders updated on progress and results.
- Presentation Support: Assisting with presentations for internal and external events.
- Website Maintenance: Ensuring website content is current and relevant.
