Job Description:
The Role
Investment Compliance Technology team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work on the development & testing of a brand-new Compliance Monitoring product. This is a highly concurrent system performing complex real time calculations - all within a sub-second SLA.
The successful candidate will be applying strong software development and test automation skills to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software solutions.
Role will also involve growing a strong engineering team that could challenge the status quo and build next generation applications for Asset Management.
The Expertise You Bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 8+ years of experience in software development using object-oriented design methodology.(Java, Java scripts, Automation)
- Working experience in Rest based Microservices built using frameworks like Spring, Mybatis etc.
- Extensive experience with test automation at different levels of testing (unit, component, integration and functional tests) using JUnit, Mockito and Cucumber for Integration testing.
- Experience in client-side testing using frameworks, test runners and tools (e.g. Karate, Cypress, Cucumber, FitNesse, Gerkin/Protractor).
- Working experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
- Working knowledge of Event driven systems using Kafka Messaging platform.
- Working experience in Cloud based infrastructure and Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.
- Understanding of the Asset Management (specifically Compliance) domain is a plus
- Experience working in an Agile team.
