Join Team Amex and let's lead the way together. Supports the development, implementation and management of information security requirements in multiple Technology disciplines. Main focus is on implementing security measures to protect computer systems, network devices, and data across the enterprise. 
Additional responsibilities include preventing data loss and service disruptions by 
implementing secure solutions.

How will you make an impact in this role?

Responsible for Cyber Analytics Platform Operations .

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 systems administration for Linux and Windows servers, Kubernetes platform and SyslogNG

    • Understand Redhat satellite kickstart process and deploy machines to IT infrastructure and automate basic fulfills through custom scripts. Understand Kubernetes platform architecture

    • Write/develop scripts and frameworks using one of the popular languages, like python, shell or Perl to automate regular operational work, to integrate with monitoring tools to monitor applications, systems, ingestions and adhoc requirements

    ·       Administration of NAS storage systems, backup system Cohesity

    •  Work with Ansible and ansible playbooks to automate system management and application work

    • Actively participate in troubleshooting and tuning OS level parameters as per application desires

    • Perform remote efforts to work with multiple vendors to replace hardware components and ensure state to desired within regular production operational SLAs

    • Provide support for regular systems patching, change implementations, maintenance and enhancements to production and Development IT systems

    • Good written skills to prepare Knowledge base articles on implemented system changes, hardware troubleshoots and to prepare Root Cause Analysis in case of system or application failures.

    • Proactively respond and work on problem alerts receiving through monitoring tools and other sources

    • Be part of on-call rotation with other team players to monitor systems health and proactively engage SMEs to resolve issues on-time. Provide weekend support for production restorations    

    ·       Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment

    Minimum Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field

·       Hands-on experience with VMWare Hyper Converged Infrastructure setup for high availability and ongoing maintenance

·       Hands-on experience with setting up and ongoing maintenance of Kubernetes containers, hybrid cloud environments

·       Hands-on experience with Dell Isilon administration and Cohesity Administration

·       Hands-on experience with SyslogNG administration

·       Hands-on experience with Windows systems administration (both virtual and physical)

·       Hands-on knowledge of Network aspects in the system setup and ability to troubleshoot Network issues on systems.

·       Write/develop scripts and frameworks using one of the popular languages, like python, shell or Perl to automate regular operational work, to integrate with monitoring tools to monitor applications, systems, ingestions and adhoc requirements

·       Advanced level proficiency with Ansible

·       Hands experience with Redhat satellite, APM tools like Dynatrace and log analytics tool ELK.

·       Strong verbal and written communication skills, experience of working onsite/offshore model

Preferred Qualifications

·       Not a mandatory and profile add-on, if any of mentioned certifications are completed in last 3 years – RHCSA, RHCE, K8 Cloud Native, Ansible

Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
