Become a Senior Manager of Financial Data Governance and Automation at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you will manage a skilled team of professionals consisting of 6 employees that will lead technical support and maintenance for end-to-end integration and management of the financial accounting ERP systems and interfacing sub-systems. Also, you will ensure the data integrity and reliability meets accounting, reporting, and regulatory compliance objectives. In addidation, you will lead a centralized effort within the organization to identify, assess, prioritize, and support process and technology improvements for the organization.

Responsibilities
- Develops and recommends procedures for the preparation, implementation, and monitoring of depreciation and cost of removal (COR) studies
- Develops ad monitors data for preparation of SCE's utilities services and assets
- Monitors regulatory changes from the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) and manages expected impact to the business
- Ensures filing on a timely basis all reporting requirements of the CPUC.
- Collaborates with outside consultants in preparation of the company's annual cost of service study
- Prepares and files with commissions documents pertaining to the company's rates, rules and regulations, forms, and monitor for compliance
- Analyzes rates on a regular basis to determine if all rates are performing as the cost of service forecasted
- Monitors regulatory agencies and legislative bodies for changes or proposed changes in requirements in procedures and reporting
- Delivers systems and process enhancements projects in order to ensure cadence with regulatory conditions
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience supervising a team of direct reports and/or project management.
- Experience preparing financial and/or regulatory reports.
- Experience with financial and accounting concepts
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, business administration, computer information systems, or other related field.
- Experience with SAP/ERP and/or PowerPlant applications/modules with deep understanding of related business processes.
- Experience in the electric utility business areas and its regulatory environment.
- Experience and technical knowledge of Alteryx, Business Objects, Snowflake, Power BI, SAS, or Python
- Experience translating complex business needs and requirements into appropriate technology solutions and implementing solutions.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
You should know
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
