Job Summary
Elizabethtown Community & Technical College is expanding the Sonography Program to our sister college OCTC in Owensboro, KY. The ECTC Associate Degree Sonography program is seeking a 10-month Instructor/Clinical Coordinator. The instructor will be responsible for both didactic, clinical, and simulation instruction.
Job Duties:
This position will instruct the equivalent of 15 credit hours per semester and be responsible for advising, institutional service, external service, professional development, maintaining equipment, and educational leadership at the OCTC Sonography lab located in Owensboro, Kentucky. Assignments may include some evening, weekend, and/or off-campus courses. Candidates must possess a strong commitment to teaching, the willingness to work with a diverse population, and be dedicated to the mission of Elizabethtown Community & Technical College.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education & Experience: Associate’s degree in Sonography and 2 years of full-time experience in the field.
Certification or Professional License: The person must be credentialed in both abdominal and OB/GYN sonography by the ARDMS, CCI, or ARRT and have current certification in healthcare provider CPR
