About the role:
We are building and scaling the largest resident-centric ecosystem of experiences to make finding, renting and living in an apartment a delight. With the largest network of apartments in the world, you’ll have access to the resources to build the products and experiences that will define this evolution.
In this role, you will be the master of process, user stories and PRD’s. You’ll manage the sprint process and day-to-day cadence of what’s being scoped, built, blocked and shipped. You’ll work across teams with multiple product roadmaps, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive the day-to-day product lifecycle from PRD to launch. You will be instrumental in shipping products that meet market demands and exceed customer expectations.
JOB DESCRIPTION
WhatYouWillDo:
- Develop User Stories and Product Outcomes: Create in-depth PRDs and user stories to provide clear goals and metrics for the design and engineering teams.
- Drive Daily Agile Processes: Manage and implement Agile practices, specifically Kanban methodologies, to oversee roadmaps, product backlogs, sprints, and release plans.
- Task and Workflow Management: Coordinate daily tasks, monitor progress, and ensure efficient workflow within the development team to meet delivery timelines.
- Backlog Grooming and Management:Maintain and build a structured backlog process to ensure concepts and feedback are captured, groomed, and prioritized effectively.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance development processes for better productivity and efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless product development and delivery.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct product demos and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback and align on product direction.
- Data-Driven Decision Making:Utilize analytics to inform product decisions and measure product performance post-launch.
Qualifications:
- Education:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in product management within the software industry, including at least 2 years in a senior role.
- Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of software development processes and technologies. You don’t need to code but you understand the foundational elements of modern software and can work directly with developers to solve technical problems.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to create presentations and influence across an organization.
- Coordination Abilities: Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams and delivering successful products.
Overall Qualifications:
- First and foremost, you are a builder and a tinkerer. Outside of Product Management you find other ways to learn, grow, and create perhaps in cooking, hobbies, sports, art, or experimenting with the latest tools.

The salary range for this position is $88,000-200,000.
Additional Compensation:
- Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in an annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
- Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
