The Opportunity
- Keeps current on existing and emerging training design and delivery methods through research.
- Prepares training materials for upcoming training sessions.
- Maintains all documentation on trainee performance, applications, and data sets.
- Supports the onboarding of employees by creating a welcoming environment.
- Provides classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, and workshops using a virtual meeting platform.
- Adheres to training agenda segments and timeframes.
- Utilizes adult learning methodology to train relevant curriculum ensuring learning transfer.
- Monitors trainees’ progress.
- Provides consistent feedback to trainees, with Manager assistance, regarding learning progression.
- Conducts virtual chair-side training of Vituity employees.
- Keeps current with Billing and Reimbursement Operations changes as they develop.
- Represents Billing and Reimbursement Operations by resolving and responding to training related questions.
- Participates in Train the Trainer sessions as requested by management.
- Provides assistance to Billing and Reimbursement Operations staff members through class-related tasks and chair-side training.
- Supports, promotes, and represents Vituity in a positive and professional manner.
- Works overtime as necessary.
- Travels as necessary to conduct training at all Vituity locations and attend and/or present at off-site workshops, not exceeding 5% of time.
- May be required to assist Billing and/or Reimbursement Operations teams.
Required Experience and Competencies
- Experience in the training and development field facilitating classes or conducting chair-side training required.
- Public speaking experience in a strong, clear, and effective manner required.
- Knowledge of Billing and/or Reimbursement operations required.
- 1-2 years of revenue cycle management experience required.
- Knowledge of Vituity functions and operations with a minimum of two years’ experience preferred.
- Excellent facilitation skills including but not limited to: observant of trainee comprehension, ability to grab audience attention, creating an urgency to learn and adapt quickly to changes in the curriculum.
- Effective time management while facilitating training.
- Ability to resolve conflict successfully with minimal assistance.
- Ability to work independently and maintain effective working relationships.
- Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Enjoys teaching and mentoring others.
- Requires a high level of patience.
- Strong and energetic speaking skills that can gain and hold the attention of a virtual audience.
- Ability to gain respect of the classroom by displaying strong decision-making skills and effective leadership.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Vituity’s software and applications.
- Effectively works in diverse groups as well as independently.
- Ability to work under pressure and deal with ambiguity.
- Ability to maintain classified, personal communications and files. The highest level of discretion is mandatory.
- Desire to learn new things and work and thrive in fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Employees must be able to adapt to change.
- Ability to read, write, and analyze reports, business correspondence, technical updates, training and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information orally and in written form.
- Ability to be persuasive and diplomatic in responding to questions from individuals, groups of employees, managers, clients, physicians, and the general public.
- Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
- Decisive and exercises good judgment under pressure.

We are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $22.05 - $27.01, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible to participate in our annual corporate Success Sharing bonus program, which is based on the company’s annual performance. If you are hired at Vituity, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience.
