Technical Advisor
Position Purpose
The Technical Advisor Role is essential for service operations, allowing a facility workflow in the maintenance department. Keeping consistent records of warranties, orders, sales and service schedules.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
- Work order intake.
- Work order closing.
- Inbound and outbound service phone calls.
- Service scheduling.
- Warranty claim filling.
- Warranty recovery tracking.
- Technical consulting and any technical record keeping needed to maintain a proper service retail environment.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance or industrial machinery experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to perform multiple tasks while maintaining a sense of urgency.
- Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills – ability to think outside the box
- Strong interpersonal and team working skills
- Familiar with revenue generating repair facility workflow and technician time management.
- Ability to take direction well and work with minimal supervision
