Job Title: Vice President of Development and Mission Advancement
Position Summary: The Vice President of Development and Mission Advancement for New View Alliance (NVA) will lead a centralized and comprehensive Development Department to support NVA, New Directions, and Gateway-Longview

Agency: New View Alliance is the parent company of Gateway-Longview, Inc. and New Directions Youth & Family Services, Inc. providing both agencies with strategic planning, advocacy, and shared administrative support for Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Corporate Integrity, Performance Improvement, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

Location:The office location is flexible to our Williamsville, Lockport, or Randolph campuses.
Services are provided at all locations and around WNY (must be willing to travel).
Compensation: $90,000-$114,000 per year
Position Specific Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead NVA's development and marketing strategies across multiple service regions.
- Oversee grant management and use of restricted funds.
- Facilitate employee and Board engagement activities through fundraising, friend-raising, and volunteer activities.
- Direct the operations of the Foundation Department, ensuring compliance with policies, Foundation Bylaws, and NYS regulations and laws.
- Coordinate Foundation Board meetings, creating the agenda and maintaining minutes
- Supervise department staff, including ensuring a clear division of duties.
- Keep internal and external stakeholders informed of development and agency achievements through engaging platforms such as newsletters and social media.
- Support employee recruitment strategies and program marketing initiatives
- Manage and update the affiliation's website and all social networking sites to maximize outreach.
- Actively support program initiatives and attend program meetings and celebrations to promote NVA visibility at all locations
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Communications, Development, Public Relations, or Marketing, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
- Exceptional ability to engage, motivate, and inspire others
- Demonstrate optimism and skill in fostering synergy throughout affiliation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking
- Experience in grant writing, donor relations, and marketing.
- Knowledge of graphic design and website development
- Familiarity with fundraising platforms
