Assistant Professor- Structural Biochemist The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry within the College of Science at The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) is seeking applications for a tenure-track assistant professor faculty position in biochemistry pertaining to Structural Biology (cryo-EM). The successful candidate will be expected to bring a new dimension to the Department while complementing its existing strengths in both the interdisciplinary and traditional fields. The candidate should possess expertise in cryo-EM for elucidating the structure and function of biological macromolecular assemblies at atomic level resolution. This includes experience in protein purification, sample application to grids, hands on experience with an electron microscope, and extensive experience in data processing for cryo-EM reconstruction as demonstrated with first author publications indicating expertise in the application of cryo-EM methodology. Assistant/Associate Professor in Social Work The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) College of Health Sciences invites nominations and applications for a full-time tenured/tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Social Work.
