Addressing health disparities and inequities that contribute to chronic disease development is a critical national priority, especially in Hispanic persons who suffer from extensive health disparities and often are characterized by earlier and worse chronic disease progression. UTEP is a focal point for education and biomedical research for Hispanics living on the US-Mexico border and has been intentional in supporting Hispanic Health Disparities research initiatives. UTEP is poised to become a national leader in this critical area of biomedical research by establishing an advanced health database. Assistant/Associate Professor in Operations and Supply Chain Management The Department of Marketing, Management, and Supply Chain at The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) invites applications for a tenure-track advanced assistant or associate faculty position in operations and supply chain management (OSCM) - transportation and logistics. The expected start date is fall 2025. Salary and benefits are AACSB-competitive and appropriate for experience and qualifications. Responsibilities include scholarly research and publishing findings in mainstream OSCM academic journals, instruction at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, participation in the Ph.D. Program in Business Administration by mentoring doctoral students and serving on dissertation committees, service on faculty committees, and community outreach. Job Requirements: A Ph.D. in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Transportation and Logistics or a related business discipline from an AACSB-accredited institution is required.
