About us
Executive Service Corps of Southern California's (ESC) vision is to enrich the quality of life in all communities across Southern California. ESC's skilled consultants coach Southern California nonprofits through transformative projects that help them meet the needs of their communities. No matter the mission, needs, or size of the organization, our expert consultants strive to help nonprofits face their most critical challenges and create long-term sustainable change. Our goal is to guide nonprofits as they grow, evolve, and impact the lives of those who depend on their services every day.
Since our founding in 1981, ESC has collaborated with over 2,500 nonprofits to help them to thrive. Our volunteer consulting corps is compromised of more than 120 highly-skilled professionals who have been specifically vetted and trained to effectively respond to the unique needs of nonprofits of every size, age, and interest area across our community. Our aim is to equip nonprofit organizations with the tools and resources – to help nonprofit leaders and staff members develop the skills, knowledge, and infrastructure they need – to build strong and sustainable institutions and effect positive, lasting change in their communities. At the heart of our work is the belief that strong and effective organizations are the key to thriving communities, and to achieving social, racial, economic, and environmental justice.
