Job Summary
The College of Arts and Sciences is seeking an Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement and Partner Relations to serve as a key member of its Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement team. The successful candidate will work to build new connections among alumni and other constituents with the goal of increasing alumni and volunteer engagement for the College, as well as increasing fundraising capacity and facilitating career preparation opportunities for students. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Build relationships with alumni and donor prospects to expand fundraising capacity
- Cultivate younger and local alumni for volunteer and philanthropic support
- Connect alumni and other professional contacts to the College for internship, mentoring and other career readiness opportunities for students
- Serve as the College’s liaison to the UK Alumni Association staff
- Coordinate alumni career panels and campus visits by alumni and donors
- Implement One Day for UK alumni engagement plans for College and Departments
- Support key College alumni activities, including Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame, UK Homecoming, graduation celebrations, occasional pre-game events, and department alumni engagement events.
