Position Summary
The University of Southern Indiana is accepting applications for Clinical Track Assistant Professor of Psychology with specialty in counseling or clinical practice. The appointment will begin in August 2025.
Duties/Responsibilities
Responsibilities include teaching 12 credit hours per semester (2-3 course preparations), advising psychology majors, involvement in clinical or counseling practice or activities, and engaging in university service activities. Teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate course offerings in clinical or community psychology, psychopathology, and special topic classes in applicants’ area of expertise.
Required Knowledge and Skills
Applicants must hold or be nearing completion (ABD) of a doctoral degree in Psychology. Applicants in the process of finishing their degree will be considered if the degree will be conferred by the end of their first year of employment. If employment starts in August 2025, terminal degree must be completed by the end of July 2026.
