In this job, you will work on the Program Integration and Development team to support long-term customer program strategy development. You will work across our portfolio of programs, including traditional programs, such as Energy Efficiency and Demand Response and emerging programs, such as, Building Electrification, Transportation Electrification, Customer Generation, and Income Qualified Programs to advise on how to meet SCE’s ambitious Countdown to 2045 goals. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading market research, quantitative and qualitative analyses, collaborating with our program and regulatory affairs partners, and managing key strategic initiatives across the portfolio.

Responsibilities
- Manages activities of one or more large, mid to long-term projects with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods and outcomes
- Develops business plans, objectives and initiatives for the organization
- Provides inputs to organizational objectives and policies and ensures delivery of results
- Engages regularly with senior management as a key consultant on critical business issues
- Identifies and manages resolution of major or complex project issues in order to meet goals of the project and maintain timeline and budget for the project
- Implements, establishes, and maintains key strategic metrics that ensure project effectiveness
- Maintains transparent and efficient resource planning and allocation process for ongoing projects within the assigned area of responsibility; Ensures all on-going project strategies are in compliance with SCE standards, as well as political and regulatory requirements when applicable
- Develops resource and financial requirements from the project plan; Analyzes and determines regulatory impacts and requirements of the project
- Analyses project portfolio performance and financial reporting, continuously improving reporting using multiple tools and key performance metric tracking; Facilitates the internal information exchange for key stakeholders by providing project status reports
- Identifies project performance issues, analyzes and addresses them in a timely manner
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ten or more years of experience in project management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, finance, engineering, management, or related field
- Experience related to utility programs, transportation electrification, building electrification, energy efficiency, demand response, or equity.
- Experience with energy policy, including familiarity with regulatory frameworks, compliance requirements and filing development (e.g., Advice Letter Development).
- Prior role in internal strategy, management consulting, or a related field.
- Experience managing cross-functional, multi-stakeholder projects.
- Experience in strategic planning, market research, or related functions.
- Excellent in both oral and written communication, including top-notch presentation abilities for leadership interactions.
Additional Information
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
