This position is vital in gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and presenting data across multiple software platforms. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional internal customer support, assist department leaders with administrative tasks, and troubleshoot various challenges. This role requires a proactive problem solver who can effectively communicate and adapt in a dynamic environment. This will be a hybrid role with occasional time spent at our Central Office in Tukwila, WA.

Essential Functions
The Management Analyst:
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Gathers, analyzes, and presents data from multiple software platforms to support departmental decision-making. Performs data analysis for creating operational program reports; researches and gathers statistics and data to prepare management reports; researches and analyzes policies and procedures for the department.
- Problem-Solving: Identifies and troubleshoots problems, offers innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Customer Support: Provides internal customer service, addresses inquiries and resolves issues efficiently.
- Vendor Management: Collaborates with software vendors to ensure effective solutions and services; manages relationships to support operational needs. Interacts with various agency groups and associates to review and approve required documents, reports and maintains database.
- Financial Administration: Processes and pays invoices accurately and in a timely manner; generates rent statements, makes adjustments to tenant accounts, processes write-offs, and manages repayment accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Project Management: Manages special projects and assignments that require research, justification, and recommendations in support of policy and/or procedure change considerations; engages in developing new streamlining operational procedures; gathers and compiles information from Housing Authority staff.
- Collaboration: Works closely with various departments to gather insights and share findings, fostering a collaborative work environment. Works collaboratively across departments and agencies; represents the Housing Authority at housing conferences, meetings, and project grand openings.
- Administrative Support: Assists department leaders with various administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations and timely execution of projects.
- Documentation & Communication: Prepare memos, maintains accurate records of processes, findings, and recommendations to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Competencies
Experience & Education:
- Associate's degree in business, finance, math/science, or related field AND
- Moderate experience in public or nonprofit sector with focus in data analysis, administrative support, housing authorities and public housing, housing program financing and/or funding, project management, grant writing and management, contract management, cost-estimating OR
- An equivalent combination of experience and education that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
- Thorough knowledge of principles and techniques of data analysis, housing programs, financing, project management and accounting.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, vendors, regulatory agency administrators, and the general public.
- Ability to organize work, set priorities and exercise sound judgment within established guidelines.
- Ability to analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, and implement recommendations; demonstrate critical, creative, and reflective thinking.
- Demonstrates responsible personal and professional conduct, which contributes to the overall mission and goals of KCHA; accepts personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work; ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

- Skill in planning, budgeting, public relations, project management, and technical writing.
- Proficiency with MS Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and database software.
- Works effectively and efficiently to provide quality service to satisfy service expectations; seeks ways to improve service delivery; demonstrates strong data analysis skills.

The starting salary range of this position is $37.47 - $45.90 per hour dependent on qualifications and professional experience. The complete salary range for this position is $37.47 - $54.33 hourly. Work Environment:
Incumbent(s) must be able to meet the physical requirements of the classification and have mobility, balance, coordination, vision, hearing and dexterity levels appropriate to the functions performed. After initial onboarding, depending upon the work assignment, this role will have the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule in accordance with the KCHA's flexible work arrangements; however, remote work conditions will be reviewed on a regular basis based on business and program need. The ability to report to the Central Office in Tukwila will be required.
Physical Requirements:
