POSITION SUMMARY

The Preventive Maintenance Technician (PM Tech) position assists in the repair and maintenance of the College’s mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other internal systems such as doors, keys and locksets. The College is seeking PM Tech’s to assist our trade supervisors in the following areas: Carpentry, Plumbing, and HVAC. These duties include but are not limited to: working on door closers, hinges and doors, installing sheetrock, changing filters, greasing pumps, cleaning coils, changing belts, greasing and changing bearings, servicing pumps &amp; motors, repairing toilets &amp; sinks, and servicing/maintaining/tracking equipment and inventory relevant to the department. Uniforms and personal protective equipment will be provided and must be worn at all times. This position reports to the Director and Executive Director of Plant Operations.

The Director TSBDC at JSCC will oversee the operations, budget, and strategy for the TSBDC in compliance with the TSBDC-JSCC Annual Contract and the TSBDC Strategic Plan. The incumbent is responsible for the delivery of TSBDC programs to individuals, businesses, and organizations throughout the TSBDC at JSCC’s territory. To effectively deliver services to a territory of this size, the director will oversee the offices and staff at the primary office in Jackson, Madison County. Overseeing the public outreach arm of JSCC, the Director supports the host institution through direct and indirect involvement in JSCC programs. POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for assessing students’ non-academic needs and coordinating and developing holistic supports and services to meet those needs. Tracks and assesses student needs across all campuses, and partners with community organizations and the college foundation to provide supports.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provides student case management for services and referrals to both campus-based and community services, including mental health needs, health services, housing assistance, food insecurity and childcare for the College’s entire service region and campuses. Advises student support coordinator and student success advisors in creating and implementing student success plans. Identifies and develops partnerships with community agencies to build a structured system of coordinated supports for students. Develops and presents student support workshops and presentations. Provides information and workshops at student events.
Serves on the College’s Behavioral Intervention Team and assists with crisis planning and student intervention as needed. Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree or higher in Mathematics or a master’s degree with 18 hours of graduate level mathematics courses.

Experience in teaching mathematics.

Job Title:&nbsp;Adjunct Instructor of Piano
Campus Location:&nbsp;Sevier County Campus (Employees are assigned to a “home” location but may occasionally or regularly be required to work at other WSCC locations.)
Job Purpose:&nbsp;The overall purpose of the Adjunct Instructor of Music is to provide instruction in individual piano lessons, class piano, and/or ear training.
Essential Job Functions:
<ul>
<li>Teach individual piano lessons for 1 credit and 2 credit sections for both majors and non-majors (not to exceed the contact hour limit per semester).</li>
<li>Teach class piano 1 and/or 2 for majors and non-majors.</li>
<li>Additional course assignments in Ear Training or Intro to Music is possible on an as needed basis and pending specific qualifications.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Prepare course syllabi, course materials, evaluate student learning and maintain class records&nbsp;</li>
<li>Work with other music faculty in scheduling juries and auditions.&nbsp;</li>
<li>May perform other duties as assigned.&nbsp;</li>

Required Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Master’s Degree with a minimum of 18 credit hours in Music or equivalent from an accredited institution. 
</li>
<li>Demonstrated proficiency in piano pedagogy. 
</li>
<li>Experience with piano performance or collaborative piano. 
</li>
<li>Evidence of demonstrated commitment to and understanding of the comprehensive community college philosophy. 
</li>
</ul>

Environment &amp; Working Conditions:&nbsp;Office environment is temperature controlled with occasional fluctuations, well lit, and free from loud noises and unnecessary interruptions. Could be exposed to varying weather conditions when travelling.
