Job Summary
This position is responsible for setting the strategic direction and managing services provided by the accounting office. The Director provides leadership for staff that provide accounting and financial reporting services including financial statement preparation, budget preparation and reporting, Tennessee Board of Regent and State of Tennessee required reporting, position control and budget, and any ad hoc financial or budgeting reporting. The position is also responsible for management reports that include analysis of trends and the status of delivered services. We now seek a seasoned fundraising officer to help our Principal Gifts team build from a foundation of success to expand philanthropic efforts and impact at the School. Reporting to the Director of Development, Principal Gifts, the Director, Principal Gifts is a key member of the Harvard Business School (HBS) frontline fundraising team and is responsible for securing 7+ figure philanthropic commitments for HBS.
