Job Summary
The maintenance technician performs maintenance on all utility systems for all BCTC campus sites. Working collaboratively with the Maintenance and Operations Supervisor, this position troubleshoots and performs preventative maintenance on electrical circuits, motor controls, safety circuits, steam plant and HVAC systems utilizing specialized equipment and skills.




Job Duties:
<ul>
<li>Troubleshoots all utility systems including electrical circuits, motor controls, and HVAC and steam plant (where appropriate). 
</li>
<li>Performs skilled maintenance duties in the area of HVAC monitoring/maintenance. 
</li>
<li>Performs advanced electrical duties such as installing receptacles, switches, breakers, ballasts, replaces light fixtures, and power equipment repairs.

<li>Performs advanced plumbing duties such as waterline repairs, valve repairs, and drain line maintenance.

<li>Performs advanced carpentry duties such as dry walling, painting, door repair, installation of partitions, and installation of ceiling and floor tiles.

Job Summary
The Manager of Accounting Services is responsible for the colleges accounting functions with respect to KCTCS business procedures and helps to ensure that generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) are followed. The position provides guidance and leadership relative to maintaining accurate and timely accounting processes as they relate to state and federal laws. The position will employ analytical processes to aid the college in meeting its goal of maximizing the use of its assets. This position is supervised by the associate vice president of business services.




Job Duties:

<li>Prepare monthly bank reconciliations as required by KCTCS or the vice president of finance and operations.

<li>Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations as required by KCTCS or the vice president of finance and operations.

<li>Conduct random cash receipts internal audits monthly.

<li>Responsible for preparing and entering general ledger journal entries.

<li>Ensure that Total Managed Print (TMP) recharges are processed on a timely basis. Work with printing software to ensure that all accounts have the proper print credit and that all employees are tied to a recharge department.

<li>Analyze and review various revenue and expense accounts including confirmation of deferred revenue.

<li>Assist all faculty and staff with accounting questions relating to KCTCS business procedures and generally accepted accounting principles.
