Manage all aspects of the College’s payroll processes to ensure all wages are provided in a timely and accurate manner and in compliance with all applicable College, Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR), Federal, and State laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines. Job Duties:
Responsible for the organization, administration, periodic review, planning, development, evaluation, and general effectiveness of the payroll operation. Monitor and/or enter data into the Human Resources Information System (HRIS)/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) operating system required for benefit enrollment and payroll processing. Maintain a current working knowledge of related technologies and keep current with legislative and regulatory environment. Develop and monitor internal controls to ensure accuracy and consistency of all payroll processes. Initiate and implement continuous improvements to payroll workflow and processes, ensuring integrity and security of all payroll information while striving for maximum efficiency and optimum use of staff resources. Create and/or maintain rules and validation tables for the HRIS/ERP operating system. Develop and monitor goals, objectives and performance measures for payroll services. Research problems and provide resolutions to operating system issues. Monitor and assist with monthly remittances and reconciliation of all payroll general ledger accounts, state insurance system process and approve journal entries when needed. Monitor and/or prepare Payroll Federal Tax Deposits, Quarterly 941 Tax reporting, Quarterly Unemployment reporting to ensure timely deposits and submissions without penalty. Prepare annual W-2 tax forms and reporting including reconciling and electronic reporting. Communicate to employees and administration regarding payroll related issues including taxes, policies, procedures and leave reporting. Produce reports and information for Fiscal Year End closing and Financial Statement. Coordinate with responsible party to maintain the payroll departmental information and forms on the website and other printed or online documents. Work cooperatively and effectively with other departments (internal and external) as appropriate. Work with Federal, State and Internal Auditors and provide data and explanations throughout the audit. Other duties as assigned.&nbsp;
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent with six (6) years of experience in payroll, accounting, or a related field OR an Associate’s degree or higher with four (4) years of experience in payroll, accounting, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s degree or higher. Experience with Banner or other Oracle based system.

Job Duties

Magnitude of Impact:&nbsp;Counselors provide comprehensive support services in the form of personal, academic, and career counseling as well as crisis management, follow up and outreach programming. Stress is believed to be the number one issue that causes college students to drop out of college. Licensed counselors provide thorough assessment and diagnosis of mental health issues, including those related to stress, and provide expert treatment and available resources. &nbsp;Counselors also provide comprehensive career decision-making services in the form of career counseling and career exploration. Academically, counselors assist students with navigating the complex landscape of higher education and provide practical and emotional support to academically struggling students. Through each of these services, students are given valuable tools to help them be successful and increase the retention and graduation rates at the college. The time frame of impact ranges from immediate (crisis intervention) to long-term (retention/graduation), depending on the nature of the services offered.&nbsp; If a problem should arise, the director of counseling would be called on to assist. If further assessment is warranted, community crisis services would be contacted for consultation.
Responsibility for Accuracy: If a Counselor did not possess job knowledge and skills to help students make informed decisions about personal, social, career, or academic areas, the student could be seriously harmed as well as the College.&nbsp; A lack of knowledge of crisis intervention techniques could in extreme instances result in the death of a student.&nbsp; Not being knowledgeable of program requirements and advising a student to register for inappropriate classes or misadvising about program/majors we offer would be errors with negative consequences. For verification purposes, we use consultation, documentation, and monthly reports to track services.
Judgement and Decisions:&nbsp;Counselors independently select the appropriate approach to address students’ academic or personal issues. Counselors must have the appropriate skill set to assess for crisis interventions and ability to make clinically appropriate recommendations for treatment. Counselors may consult with other members of the Counseling Services Department. Decisions typically are not reviewed before becoming effective. License-eligible clinicians must adhere to high standards regarding ethics and confidentiality as provided by the state board.

A full-time faculty is responsible for delivering instruction in various formats (on-line, in person, video-conferencing, or any combination of methods) in the discipline(s) for which she/he has been employed. Instruction may take place at any of the college’s campuses, at a clinical partner facility, or at a designated temporary location. Coordinate the Financial Aid Office CPoS processes assist with evening and off-campus workshops and presentations. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required. Prior financial aid experience is required. Equivalent experience in a related field will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to applicants with 2 years or more of applicable experience from a post-secondary education institution.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong interpersonal and public relations communication skills; ability to effectively communicate using written and verbal skills; ability to give group presentations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; especially Excel and Outlook. Ellucian Banner database, EDE, COD, NSLDS, and FAST experience or knowledge is a plus. Reasoning ability required in decision-making, advising and assisting students, applying relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations. Office administration, attention to detail, public relations, customer service, time management, organizational, and scheduling skills required. Must be able to exercise ethics and maintain confidentiality.
Pay Rate:&nbsp; $43,888 - $51,120 (Annual salary depending on eligible experience which is defined by the current compensation plan.)

Job Summary
The Document Scanning Clerk is a part-time, temporary position and responsible for collecting, reviewing, scanning, and organizing documents (ex: employee files, training records, benefits information, transcripts, student records, etc.) This position will involve converting a high-volume of paper files to electronic files in cloud storage.
Job Duties
<ul>
<li>Create a workflow to manage this high-volume conversion project using an in-depth understanding of proper document retrieval, handling, and destruction of documents that contain personal and protected information.</li>
<li>Order files from offsite storage and other locations in preparation for scanning. Receive and process incoming files from internal teams</li>
<li>Organize and scan files for electronic storage; Ensure each file is readable and scanned completely.</li>
<li>Ensure files are properly classified, named, and saved in corresponding drives.</li>
<li>Ensure confidentiality and discretion at all times.</li>
<li>Keep a record of documents retrieved, scanned, saved, and destroyed.</li>
<li>Provide administrative assistance when needed.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>
