Job Duties:
Manage the college's Prison Education Program (PEP) including recruiting, admissions, financial aid, enrollment, transfer, career, and re-entry processes. This includes establishing partnerships and providing direct service to incarcerated students. This position can be located at any Madisonville Community College campus but must maintain on-site office hours four days per week at Green River Correctional Complex (GRCC) in Central City and one day per week at MCC’s North Campus in Madisonville. Job Summary
The IT Business Systems Analyst III should be knowledgeable of student recruiting/retention platform functionality, integration, setup, best practices, and reporting while also providing professional/development training and customer service and support to end users. This position will ensure that the KCTCS recruitment and retention platforms are leveraged to their fullest extent at all 16 colleges of KCTCS through a continuous improvement model of both staff/faculty training and system administration. Should KCTCS sunset or contract replacement software, the incumbent will be heavily involved in the sunsetting and data storage requirements of legacy systems, as well as the development and implementation of new systems while ensuring a smooth transition for staff, faculty, and student end users. The success of the position will be measured in faculty staff/adoption and utilization of the KCTCS recruitment and retention systems and the impact on student success outcomes that these systems have. This is a defined-term contract position renewable each fiscal year and located in Versailles, KY. Job Duties:
Provides administrative oversight of the recruitment and retention technology systems for the 16 colleges and system office and supports functional and strategic training for staff and faculty on software utilization to properly leverage automation/scalability and improve student success outcomes. • Excellent writing and oral communication skills. • Must possess excellent leadership, customer service, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently while meeting required deadlines. • Ability to function efficiently in a stressful work environment. • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, and travel to multiple locations as the course schedule dictates. • The ability to maintain a seated or standing position for extended durations and the capability to move around the campus and/or clinical environment is required. Additionally, candidates should possess the physical capacity to lift and bend, as some of the work entails participating in simulation and laboratory settings. • Must be able to hear and speak well enough to communicate with students, faculty, and staff face to face, via the telephone, and through electronic mediums (e.g., email, recordings, virtual meetings, etc.).
