Working from general verbal and written instruction and according to established operating procedures, performs the following duties:Performs any duties connected with the take-off end of the machine that are necessary to inspect, remove, pack, scrap, or otherwise dispose of all material that comes from the machine.Removes completed rolls or pieces of wool from windup and starts new rolls; accurately weighs and records weights of rolls and pieces as required; package material by hand or by means of packaging equipment;identifies each package in the prescribed manner, and stacks roll or package on a cart, pallet or other prescribed area. Handles carts as required.Observes material coming off machine for all types of visual and physical defects such as improper thickness or density, registration, dirt. wet spots, damage and poor workmanship.
